Publication Policies

Frequency and Languages

AFRIDINAR publishes two issues per year, in June and December. Submissions are accepted in English and Arabic at launch, with French planned as a later addition.

Peer Review

All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by a minimum of two independent reviewers, with a target decision turnaround of three to four weeks.

Licensing

All published articles carry a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing free reuse, sharing, translation, and redistribution with attribution. Authors retain full copyright over their own work.

Plagiarism Screening

Submissions are screened using an affordable plagiarism-detection tool in Year 1, moving to Crossref Similarity Check (iThenticate) once submission volume justifies the added cost.

Research Ethics

AFRIDINAR follows the core principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE): authorship limited to substantive intellectual contributors, mandatory disclosure of conflicts of interest, confirmed informed consent for research involving human participants, and a defined process for handling misconduct or post-publication concerns.
